Annual Report 2025
Dear partners, friends and supporters,
In 2025 we continued to grow as a small organisation working both locally and at European level. We were present every week in schools, libraries and community spaces around Curtea de Argeș, while keeping young people from our area connected to international opportunities through Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. This report gives an overview of what we did together with children, young people, volunteers, schools, local authorities and partner organisations.
For many children and teenagers, our activities were the only free, regular and organised learning space outside formal education. In rural areas, we offered learning activities, themed workshops and safe spaces after school. In the former school building in Dobroțu, made available to us by the Municipality of Albeștii de Argeș, we started to build the foundations of a future community learning hub for primary school children.
At the same time, we continued to link local realities with Europe. Young people and youth workers from our communities took part in international projects and training activities, met their peers from other countries and discovered how common European challenges look from different perspectives. International volunteers worked side by side with our team, bringing new ideas and energy to local activities.
None of this would have been possible without the commitment of our small team, the time and energy offered by local and international volunteers, the trust of schools and local institutions, and the support of our partners. We are grateful for every hour of volunteering, every open door in a school or community space, and every partnership based on shared values.
Looking ahead, our priorities remain clear: to make the Dobroțu community learning hub fully functional, to keep regular programmes in rural areas, to give more young people with fewer opportunities access to meaningful learning experiences, and to use our European partnerships in a way that brings concrete benefits back to our community.
With gratitude,
Euroactive NGO
