Today, we had the privilege of meeting with a wonderful group of seniors from our local community for a day dedicated to painting and sharing experiences. The event, hosted by the Local Museum in Curtea de Argeș, turned into a beautiful tapestry of colors, emotions, and stories.

As brushes stroked canvases, it became evident how profoundly art impacts lives, particularly for the elderly. We witnessed firsthand the joy, nostalgia, and serenity that flowed from each participant as they expressed themselves through their artwork. The atmosphere was electric with creativity, filled with laughter, and sometimes, reflective silence as memories were captured in paint.

This gathering was not just about teaching painting techniques; it was about connection, expression, and the therapeutic benefits of art. Many seniors shared how art has given them a renewed sense of purpose, an outlet for expression, and even a way to combat feelings of loneliness or isolation.

A heartfelt thank you to Ioana, our great plastic teacher, for providing us with the perfect space to host this event and the necessary guidance for our „students” to finish their art pieces.
