The main purpose of our project is to increase the motivation and competence of young people in the fight against climate change and to contribute to the reduction of the pace of climate change by showing the effects of the environment on humans. Young people who have only a superficial knowledge of the environment and climate change will gain awareness and knowledge through the activities and will find the opportunity to experience what they have learned, they will examine in groups the phases of climate change from past to present and its effects on the world and will learn by researching what the world will become if we do not protect the environment and climate, considering the extent of this in the future. they will see the problems caused by recklessness regarding the climate and the environment, and they will have an awareness of environmental protection, what they want to change in their life and what they need to do to protect the climate, in writing. Young people will have the opportunity to make new friends, develop intercultural dialogue and overcome their disadvantages with dynamic group games, activists and teamwork.
The aim of the project is to increase the ability for using the debate as a tool for working with young people among 30 participants, representatives of 6 NGO`s from Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey and Croatia. During the 8 days of training, we will explore methods of non formal education and they will organize debates, with the use of these methods on topics related to youth. We want to exchange experiences in this field, talk about the ethic and meet activists from the region. The participation in this project will also constitute an opportunity to establish contacts with organizations from other countries and to improve the development of youth activities in the area of international cooperation.
