Pictures Speak for Inclusion was a Youth Exchange that took place between 8 and 19 July in Szentendre, Hungary and involved 36 participants from 6 countries – Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Italy and Bulgaria.
The purpose of the project was to promote social inclusion and the European Values through photography. For this, we have established four objectives that can be classified into two categories. On the one hand, we set objectives to focus on developing the competencies of the young participants in the project, namely – photographic skills, knowledge of European values, understanding and assuming them, as well as an inclusive attitude. On the other hand, we aimed to increase people’s awareness regarding social exclusion and its impact on society as well as to organize a photo exhibition with social impact.
The project „Pictures Speak for Inclusion” was financed with the support of the European Commission through Erasmus+ Programme. This blog reflects only the author’s views, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
