We have started! Revitalizing Communities through Intergenerational Connections
We are excited to announce the launch of Include, Connect & Re-Generate, a new Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project aimed at strengthening rural communities in Romania, Italy, and Germany. Together with our partners, Next Level e.V. (Germany) and L’Esprit à l’Envers Società Cooperativa Sociale (Italy), we are working to bridge generational gaps, empower young people, and promote community participation.
This initiative responds to the challenges faced by youth in rural areas, including limited opportunities, social isolation, and a lack of engagement in local life. Through research, training, and hands-on activities, we will develop strategies to foster inclusion, encourage intergenerational learning, and create lasting community regeneration.
What’s Ahead?
🔹 Researching community needs through focus groups and interviews
🔹 Training sessions for youth workers to exchange best practices
🔹 Local activities that connect young people with seniors to strengthen community ties
🔹 Development of a methodology to help other organizations implement similar initiatives
🔹 A documentary showcasing our journey and impact
Our first steps include conducting focus groups with young people and interviews with community leaders to better understand their needs and expectations. These insights will shape our framework for inclusive community regeneration.
Stay tuned for updates as we move forward with this exciting project!
