YAMAG – Qualitative Research: Young People in Europe Today
This qualitative research component of the YAMAG project aims to delve into the nuanced understanding of young people’s needs and their participation in civic and democratic processes within their communities.
Conducted as part of a broader initiative to stimulate youth engagement across Italy, Spain, Croatia, and Romania, this study employs a combination of focus groups and in-depth interviews to gather comprehensive insights from young individuals aged 18 to 29.
The research is structured to complement the quantitative findings, providing a layered analysis of the perspectives, experiences, and aspirations of youth in these regions. Through this methodological approach, the project seeks to identify effective strategies for enhancing youth participation and informing policy development in a way that is responsive to the actual needs and conditions of young people in the involved countries.

In 2025, Euroactive NGO combined local work in schools, libraries and community spaces around Curtea de Argeș with European opportunities for young people and youth workers. We ran regular activities with children, developed the Dobroțu community learning hub, sent 53 participants to Erasmus+ projects across Europe and hosted 12 ESC volunteers who supported our programmes.
“Include, Connect & Re-Generate” Framework – from Ideas to Action in Community Regeneration
The Include, Connect & Re-Generate framework is a practical guide for involving young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, in meaningful community regeneration. Built on four guiding principles, it offers concrete activities, youth roles, policy ideas, and program elements inspired by real experiences from Germany, Italy, and Romania, adaptable to diverse local contexts.
Em.Power.YOU.th – Project Experience
From the 20th to the 28th of July, the Erasmus+ training course Em.Power.YOU.th brought together 16 youth workers from Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Italy for an inspiring and hands-on learning experience in youth empowerment.
