The quantitative research component of the YAMAG project represents an important element in our comprehensive analysis of young people’s needs and their engagement in the social, political, and civic spheres of their communities. This segment of data collection involved a targeted demographic of individuals aged between 18-30 years old across Italy, Spain, Romania, and notably, Croatia, where the age range was expanded to include youths aged 15-30.
Engaging a total of over 200 participants, this analysis aims to provide a robust dataset reflecting the diverse experiences and perspectives of youth within these territories.
In executing this quantitative analysis, the YAMAG project utilized a carefully crafted questionnaire to probe various facets of young people’s lives, focusing on their needs, levels of engagement, and participation in democratic processes. A total of 217 young individuals from the four partner countries contributed to this survey, offering insights into the current landscape of youth engagement and participation.
The forthcoming analysis seeks to dissect the survey data to uncover prevailing trends, patterns, and the aspirations of the youth, thereby providing a nuanced understanding of their expectations.
Ultimately, the aim is to enhance strategies and policies that not only address the identified needs but also foster a more inclusive and active participation of young people in the democratic processes crucial to the development of their communities and society at large.
